Children's Fitness Seminar Registration Closes
ISCA Health Network to Benefit from Sold Out Event

ISCA is pleased to announce that  over 25 persons from 11 different countries including Germany, France and Sweden have signed up for the seminar. Registration for the ISCA DGI seminar on children’s fitness is closed.

 

The purpose of the seminar is to create awareness of the issue and establish a foundation for future strategies in “Sport for All” on children’s fitness. The target group of the seminar are decision makers, project managers and other actors working with or with an interest in physical activities for children. The seminar takes place September 18-19 at DGI-byen in the heart of Copenhagen, Denmark.

 

Participants in the seminar will

  • gain concrete theoretical and practical knowledge on the subject of children’s fitness.
  • get an updated picture of the international developments in the area of physical activity for children and youth.
  • formulate perspectives and future steps in “Sport for All” to increase physical activity among children.
  • engage in networking and establish bilateral or multilateral partnerships in children’s fitness.

ISCA General Assembly
Participation is free-of-charge with your Congress Registration

The General Assembly will be hosted by UBAE on 23 October 2008. The host city is beautiful Barcelona in the Catalonian region of Spain. The General Assembly will be from 9am until 5pm. Assembly location is the Museum and Center for Sport Studies at the following address:

ISCA Secretariat Welcomes New Intern

ISCA Secretariat in Copenhagen is pleased to welcome Sonny Jacobsen. Sonny will be working with us in the coming months as an intern. The area of focus will be Sport and Development. Sonny brings good experience in this field as he currently serves as the coordinator of the Danish Network for Sport and Development. We look forward to Sonny's contribution to ISCA!
