Executive Committee

Mr Rado Cvetek

The Sport Union of Slovenia nominates Mr Rado Cvetek to ISCA Executive Committee.

From the motivation of Mr Rado Cvetek by Mr Miro Ukmar, president of Sport Union of Slovenia:

We hereby nominate Mr. Rado Cvetek to become a member of ISCA Executive Committee. Rado has already left a long and significant path in ISCA activities in last years. And I believe that he is ready for next step.
He believes that Sport for All and popular culture plays an increasingly important role in our societies. Such an increasing importance leads to new challenges and demand for development of the organizations governing this sector. SUS role is to assist development for Sport for All through international cooperation and partnerships. SUS is involved in ISCA activities trough PATHE project, SEE activities, ISCA Health Network, Environment and sport Network and Youth Network.
SUS would like to stay close to decisions that will be made on international level in Sport for All, SUS will with Rado Cvetek bring new dimension and energy for future cooperation.
SUS and Rado Cvetek can give special attention to the South East European Sport for All Network, which should have the important role in contributing to its overall goals such as peace, stability and democratic development in the region.
This approach is long–term in its orientation and it takes a lot of effort to become reality. What is particularly important, is the equal representation of all different peoples in this process, as well as neutral and independent treatment of initiatives coming from different countries/organizations.
SUS has always been active in promoting social and behavioral changes on a mass scale. SUS responsibilities is to include in the activities environment and related issues. That`s why we are
working and developing bilateral cooperation with UFOLEP. Beside this cooperation we have bilateral agreements with DTB from Germany, SOKOL from Check Republic, FIAF from Italy, Serbian SFA Association, Montenego SFA Association and GARD from Macedonia in the topic of “sport and health”.

Best regards,
Miro Ukmar, President Sports Union of Slovenia
