You Build! Youth Building Innovative Projects in Networks
14th - 20th November 2009, Baldovec – The Czech Republic
You Build! is a non-formal partnership building activity with a theme of creating innovative projects by Youth for Youth.
You build! Has the following objectives:
• To contribute to developing the quality of support systems for youth activities and the capabilities of civil society organizations in the youth field.
• To promote European cooperation in the youth field.
• To build partnerships among youth from European sport organizations.
• To offer a platform to create new projects on international level.
• To maximize the potential of youth networking as a means of achieving Youth in Action Programme goals and objectives.

Methodology and programme of YouBuild!
YouBuild! will be based on the principles and practice of non-formal education and is conceived to allow a learner-centered approach taking into account the needs, interests and the experiences of participants. Time and space for active participation and exchange between working practices will be provided during the different workshops.
Activities and methods applied will include: networking, development of an action plan (Take Action Pack), expert presentations, participant-led workshops, networking sessions and a session employing Open Space Technology.
The main topic of the course will be "Build partnerships among youth from European sport organizations". Participants will be given the opportunity to share, discuss, learn about and develop new ideas within this field. They are therefore more than welcome to suggest and contribute with ideas for common future activities. We will strongly encourage the participants to organize own projects after the course as well as to transfer what they learned during the course to their respective groups/organizations.
Profile of participants
• Young people in involved at voluntary work in local, regional or national NGOs and Sport for All organizations.
• Young people not active in a formal NGO structure, but working in the field of education through sport or in youth field.
• Young people with experience in or active working connections to youth work/sport organizations.
• Participants' age should be between 18-30.
• Participants are required to have a good level of understood and spoke English.
Financial conditions of participation
Participation fee is 30 euro along with a contribution towards travel expenses (see below).
The organizers will provide accommodation and food.
Getting there
All participants will be asked to meet up in Prague, on the 14th of November. Organizers will provide overnight stay and travelling from Prague to Baldovec on a following day.
Getting home
Organizers arrange bus transport back to Prague.
The participants should arrange their own travel to and from Prague. Organizers will refund travel expenses up to 180 EURO. The organizers will need to see all original tickets and receipts to be able to enable a refund. We encourage participants to make use of the cheapest methods of travel possible.
Participation fee
The participation fee for the seminar is 30 euro and will be deducted from the travel reimbursement.
Languages
The working language will be English. Applicants are requested to have good knowledge of English.
Application, procedure and selection of participants
The call for applications will be closed on the 1st of October 2009.
On the basis of the applications received CASPV and ISCA will take a final decision on accepted applicants.
Confirmation of participation will be send to participants latest by the 10th of October 2009.

Some information about CASPV
Czech Sport for All association (CASPV) is a sport organization with a strong history. CASPV has more than 260.000 members and works with all age groups within society. The work of CASPV is based on volunteer-run sport clubs. A typical member of CASPV is engaged in several activities - the most common being Gymnastics, Aerobic, Recreation, Health physical training, Yoga, Pre-school children physical activities, Seniors and sport, Chinese exercise, Outdoor sports, Dance, etc.
