European Civic Days 7-9 May 2010

On the 7th, 8th and 9th May 2010, the city of Malaga will welcome 650 people from all corners of the European Union to meet with one main goal: to bring the process for the construction of the European Union closer to the citizens. This event is organized by a group of 13 Spanish NGOs and European platforms including SOLIDAR and the European Civic Forum.

 

The programme has several presentations and 12 workshops with the goal of drawing conclusions that will be conveyed to the Spanish Presidency of the European Union. EUCIS-LLL president Gina Ebner has been invited to give a presentation in one of the workshops. Maybe some of you have also been contacted.

 

A European Civic Fair will provide an arena to share knowledge and to forge partnerships. We could organize a joint information stand on education and training. If you are interested in sending some brochures/presentations let me know.

 

The participants will be covered for their travel (up to 250€) and will have an accommodation and breakfast for 7th and 8th may. Registration fee is 25 euros. This is a first come first save basis.
